Regular tours are available each Tuesday & Thursday at 17:00. These events are free and all you need do is contact administration (contact details are further down this page) and book one of these times. This will give you the opportunity to tour our facilities and meet our staff who will be on hand to answer any of your questions.
Alternatively you can come along to our OPEN DAY on the 22nd of June 2008 from Noon till 17:00.
Prospective students and parents / guardians will have the opportunity to see our studios and workstations for themselves. The staff or students will demonstrate the common uses of the equipment.
A great opportunity to meet the lecturers and tutors, who will be happy to address any questions you may have.

The Institute is situated 2 minutes walk from James Street railway station on the Wirral line. This line can be accessed from the Northern line via Moorfields or Central Station or from the City line via Lime Street Station. When you exit James Street Station, follow the James Street signs. Turn right out of the station, continue to the end of the road and turn right again onto The Strand. The Institute is located approximately 300 yards on the right, just after Brunswick Street.
The Institute is easily accessible from most major bus routes. Paradise Street Interchange is about 5 minutes walk away and Lime Street bus station is about 10 minutes walk away.

The Institute is located on The Strand in Liverpool, almost directly opposite the Royal Liver Building and Cunard Building. From any direction it is easily found by following signs to the Liverpool docks.
