Digital Film courses
Digital Filmmaking has revolutionised the filmmaking industry. The power and availability of digital cameras and computer editing gives everyone the means to produce their own movie, music video or documentary. On SAE's Filmmaking programmes students learn the whole filmmaking process. Ranging from scripting and storyboarding, through all aspects of shooting, e.g. camera operation, framing, lighting, to editing, compositing and visual effects. The Filmmaking courses follow the SAE concept of combining technical skills with creativity and provide training for an industry with future. Graduates are prepared for a wide range of roles in the movie and TV industries.
The UK plays a vital role in film and TV production. Major international productions are shot and post-produced in the UK. To give an idea of the activity, please follow this link to see movie and TV productions shot at UK locations: IMDb: productions with UK locations 2007-2010.
