BA (Hons) Recording Arts degree
The Audio Engineering Degree Programme comprises the Audio Engineering Diploma Programme and expands up to Degree level.

There are two ways to achieve this qualification:
- By enrolling in the full two-year degree programme, commencing March and September. This options means that:
- UK students can access student loans through the LEA/SLC
- Students need to satisfy entry requirements for the degree (2 A-levels or equivalent)
- A place on the degree year is already reserved
- The programme is compact, without a gap between diploma and degree
- By enrolling for the Audio Engineering Diploma in January, March, June or September first, and joining the 'progression degree' afterwards. This option means that:
- The degree year commences March or September
- There may be a gap between the end of the Diploma and the beginning of the degree
- Student loans through LEA/SLC are not available
- Only entry requirements for the Diploma need to be satisifed (2 GCSEs or equiovalent). Progression to the degree is subject to a Diploma mark of 12.
- The first year can be done at any SAE, including SAE Liverpool or Glasgow, with the degree year taking place at SAE London
The Degree level may be taken at any of SAE’s Degree Centres.
The BA (Hons) Recording Arts Degree Programme is taught and administered by SAE and validated by Middlesex University, England. It is currently available at the London, Munich, Berlin, Zurich, Vienna, Athens, Madrid, Paris and Singapore branches. It can be taken over a period of two years and is equivalent to the more common three-year degree offered by most universities. The full degree programme (2 years) incorporates the Audio Engineering Diploma.
