We hold tours for prospective EMP students every Tuesday, and prospective Audio Engineering students every Thursday. Both start at 17:00. To attend a tour simply contact administration (contact details below) to book.
Alternatively you can come along to one of our OPEN DAYS. The next open day is taking place on the 2nd of November from 12:00 till 17:00.
Prospective students and parents / guardians will have the opportunity to see our studios and workstations for themselves together with staff or students demonstrating the common uses of the equipment.
This is also the best opportunity to meet the lecturers and tutors, who will be happy to address any questions you may have, or even just chat about sound.

The Institute is situated 2 minutes walk from James Street railway station on the Wirral line. This line can be accessed from the Northern line via Moorfields or Central Station or from the City line via Lime Street Station. When you exit James Street Station, follow the James Street signs. Turn right out of the station, continue to the end of the road and turn right again onto The Strand. The Institute is located approximately 300 yards on the right, just after Brunswick Street.
The Institute is easily accessible from most major bus routes. Paradise Street Interchange is about 5 minutes walk away and Lime Street bus station is about 10 minutes walk away.

The Institute is located on The Strand in Liverpool, almost directly opposite the Royal Liver Building and Cunard Building. From any direction it is easily found by following signs to the Liverpool docks.
