Now enrolling for EMP course start 2/6/08

The creative process of composition, recording, Mixing and mastering is often hampered by both hardware and software that appears to be too complicated to use. This often leads to frustration when that truly inspirational idea you had cannot be realized into a fantastic end production. Surely this is not the way music making was meant to be? Many creative hours are often wasted while you struggle to learn as you go. We know this only too well. The EMP course has been specifically designed with you in mind to provide a solid foundation for you to build your productions on, and to get the very best out of the technology available to you.

Special Guest, Mary Kiani joins EMP class.

During this intensive training programme, you will learn to operate many of the latest professionally used music software packages. You will learn to identify good microphone choices for vocal recording and learn how to capture and produce that perfect vocal sound by mastering the use of dynamic sound processors and effects units.
Our in house engineers will give demonstrations and examples by using their own productions as training tools. Our students are able to book ample hours on our equipment on an individual basis to practice and develop the skills learned in the classroom.

SAE has extensive opening hours, so even if you are at work during the day, we will provide evening classes, and practical time can be booked at the weekend.

The unique Electronic Music Production course provides an opportunity for music enthusiasts to unleash their passion for sound on the best music equipment, training with the international industry experts. The programme encourages individualism and combines the fundamentals of electronic music production with practical experimentation and personal creativity. Students will graduate from the six-month programme with the skills and knowledge to create the music they love and gain a strong foundation for future learning.
