Graphic Design Certificate Course
The Graphic Design Certificate is an intensive 6-month practical course dealing with all aspects of Graphic Design and the creative design industry. Using industry-standard tools of the trade, the course offers a creative project-rich curriculum, and takes the students abilities to a professional, commercial standard.
The course takes students through everything needed to compete in the design industry: digital imaging, typography, specialist illustration techniques, motion graphics, DTP and layout skills, web design and flash, portfolio preparation and even the business knowledge required to function in the freelance world, or as part of an agency.
Students will undertake a series of interesting, fresh and modern projects based on design agency briefs, as well as take part in a Client Initiated Project, which allows the students to work with real clients and produce their first piece of commercial work while on the course. These projects will help build the foundations of a creative design portfolio to take to potential employers and clients.
