18/2/08 - SAE Glasgow students visit Tannoy factory.
SAE students attended the Tannoy loudspeaker factory for a guided tour of the impressive facility. The visit was scheduled to support a series of guest lectures delivered at SAE by Richard Herd.
07/2/08 - Another winner from SAE Glasgow
Congratulations to current EMP student Kash Khan member of the talented production duo Koncrete Beatz who recently won the Timbaland competition to produce the best remix of the Ashlee Simpson track (Out of my head). Their production was voted winner from a pool of over 200 entries.
07/2/08 - Mary Kiani guest lecture series
SAE guest lecturer Mary Kiani presented an in depth series of lectures to eager SAE Electronic music production students where She discussed sound engineering from the performers point of view. Many invaluable tips and advice were passed on to the class with relation to the importance of building a good working relationship between the producer and the artist. Mary also went into great depth about her own vast experiences within the industry passing on a wealth of valuable information that she has gained over a very long and prosperous career. All in attendance had a very enjoyable, informative, and entertaining time.
21/1/08 - SAE Glasgow install the new ICON-ES
SAE Glasgow is pleased to announce that our upgrade programme has been completed ahead of schedule. The latest addition to our studios is the new Icon D- Control console, the new Enhanced Spec version is the first in Scotland and will further enhance our existing facilities by allowing our students individual access to the very latest high end equipment.
