The unique Electronic Music Production course provides an opportunity for music enthusiasts to unleash their passion for sound on the best music equipment, training with the international industry experts. The programme encourages individualism and combines the fundamentals of electronic music production with practical experimentation and personal creativity. Students will graduate from the six-month program with the skills and knowledge to create the music they love and gain a strong foundation for future learning.

Primarily, the course is designed to focus students' learning experience as much as possible on the practical use of computer sequencing, MIDI programming and hard disc recording.
Who should take this course ?
The EMP is intended for musicians and DJs who enjoy experimenting with technology as well as electronic music and audio hobbyists. The program is open to anyone 16 years and above with no prior experience or personal equipment required.You would benefit from this course if:
- You make music and you would like to experiment with electronic sound or work more efficiently with your equipment.
- You are into DJing and would like to remix music more effectively.
- You want an edge on your existing production techniques.
- You are passionate about electronic music!
- You intend to study further in this area.
This course can be used as a 'stepping stone' for students who wish to progress to our more advanced qualifications, the Audio Engineering diploma and the BA (Hons) Recording Arts degree).
