The MA Creative Media Practice is a continuing professional development and research programme specific to the creative media industries. The exclusive partnership between Middlesex University and SAE International features and capitalises on the strengths and the outstanding reputation of both organisations: MU for its renowned academic excellence and its initiatives in Work Based Learning (for which it has been awarded a Queen's Anniversary Prize); and SAE for its state-of-the-art technology research facilities and industry credibility.This Masters degree opens the door for professionals to further their academic horizon and to achieve a high academic qualification in their chosen field. The Masters programme provides the flexibility to accommodate the special professional interest of each student, whether it is within Sound and Recording, Multimedia Design or Film studies.
The focus of the MA Creative Media Practice is on research which students will conduct at one of SAE's MA research centres in London, Byron Bay, Munich or Singapore. Upon commencement of their studies students design a research project with their Academic Advisor who will guide them through the programme.
Since the Masters degree is aimed at professionals, Recognition and Accreditation of Learning, i.e. professional experience, is an important factor in this qualification.
