SAE Institute London’s Alumni Association forms - has first meeting
London, UK- SAE UK’s Alumni Association has formed with chapters in London, Liverpool and Glasgow. The London chapter recently had its first meeting where members came together to begin networking with fellow alumni and learn about upcoming activities.
During this first of the chapter’s monthly meetings, Chapter President, Angi Kuzma, outlined plans for the association, which includes lectures, workshops and field trips. The meeting was attended by two special guests, Tom Misner, founder and CEO of SAE and special industry guest Julian Standen, studio owner and head of the audio community website www.gearslutz.com. Julian was on hand to speak to alumni about the audio industry and provided insight into starting your audio career.
SAE’s Alumni Association has been formed to provide graduates many benefits relevant to their chosen field. Networking with fellow graduates, lectures by industry professionals, workshops in specialised topics, a job database and discounts on software, magazines, and equipment are just some of the benefits provided to SAE’s alumni members.
