About SAE
SAE Institute was founded in 1976 by Engineer/Producer Tom Misner in Sydney, Australia. Since then the institute has become the world's largest education provider for creative media technology.
SAE offers training courses in Audio Engineering, Creative Media and Digital Film. All courses are characterised by hands-on, practical training using modern professional equipment. SAE prepares students for the audio, creative media and film industries in which many SAE graduates have become successful.
SAE is a worldwide network of more than 40 colleges in 20 countries. SAE qualifications have become a worldwide standard for the media industries. Students have the opportunity to train on professional state-of-the-art equipment. This advantage is supported by SAE's network of industry partners.
Since 1998 SAE has offered degree qualifications in association with Middlesex University, UK. The University has validated several programmes at undergraduate and Masters level which are delivered by SAE's degree centres.
There are three SAE Institutes in Britain: London, Liverpool and Glasgow.
